Terms & conditions

TODO before launch — these terms
describe how this shop actually works, but they are not legal advice.
Fill in your business details in config/shop.config.ts and
have them reviewed before you take live orders.
1. Who you are buying from
planesilly.com is operated by TODO - your trading name or registered company name, trading as Plane Silly.
Contact: hello@planesilly.com.
2. These terms
By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them before you order. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
3. How the contract is formed
Adding items to your cart or reaching the checkout does not create a contract. A contract comes into existence when we accept your order, which we do by sending the order to print. If we cannot accept it — for example the design has been retired, the size is unavailable, or there has been a pricing error — we will tell you and refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling and include delivery.
- We do not charge for delivery at any point. There is no shipping line at the checkout because postage is included in the price shown.
- Payment is taken at the checkout by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
- If a price is obviously wrong and you could reasonably have recognised it as a mistake, we are not obliged to supply at that price. We will contact you and refund you if you do not wish to continue.
5. Products
Every item is printed to order. Product images are representative; the exact colour of a garment can vary slightly between batches and between screens, and print placement can vary by a small margin. These are normal characteristics of printed apparel rather than faults.
6. Delivery
We deliver to the United Kingdom and the United States. Items are printed within approximately 2–5 working days and typically arrive 3–7 working days after that. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If an estimated delivery date passes by a significant margin, contact us and we will investigate, reship or refund.
7. Your right to cancel
You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, and you then have a further 14 days to return the item. It must be unworn, unwashed and in a saleable condition. You pay the cost of return postage. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back.
To cancel, email hello@planesilly.com with your order reference. Full details are on the returns page.
8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If an item arrives misprinted, damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order reference and a photograph. We will replace it or refund you in full, including any postage you have paid, at your choice. This is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Intellectual property
All designs, artwork, text and images on this site belong to us and may not be reproduced, resold or used commercially without written permission. Buying a shirt gives you the shirt, not the design.
Plane Silly is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any airline, aircraft manufacturer or aviation authority. Any third-party names used descriptively remain the property of their owners.
10. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not liable for business losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including postal disruption, supplier failure or extreme weather. If such an event causes a substantial delay you may cancel and receive a refund for anything not yet delivered.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
